We got married - "Just because it was Tuesday"

1st part of the story:

. . . . . . .Jim and I have dated for 9 years. We met in March of 2000 when Jessica was 9 years old and not too long after her dad had passed away. We knew that one day after Jessica graduated from high school we would get married and she graduated last year.

2nd part of the story:

. . . . . . .on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 Jim sent me a bouquet of flowers and the card read "Because it's Tuesday, and I love you Jim." Well I got flowers every Tuesday after that until Tuesday, November 13, 2007 - (4 years & 8 months). How fun!

3rd part of the story:

. . . . . . .Jim’s daughter Adrienne became engaged to her boyfriend Jake Metcalf on May 23, 2009. They were planning a big wedding in Vegas for June 26, 2010, and we were excited and talked about getting married before the June wedding - but things changed. Adie and Jake discussed the cost of a big wedding and decided to have a smaller wedding, use the money for things they need and so they moved the wedding to Friday, July 17, 2009. Well a little more pressure for us on deciding what to do so we talked about the idea of getting married in Vegas while we were down there. The girls would all be there, but we didn’t want to take the focus off of Adie & Jake’s special weekend. So we decided to get married before we left for Vegas. We got married on July 14th – "because it was Tuesday."

4th part of the story:

. . . . . . .We got our license at the Courthouse on Monday, July 13th, talked to our friend and Magistrate Judge Dan McGee and made arrangements to get married after 5:00 p.m. when the Courthouse closed on Tuesday. Jessica came over from work in her Pizza Factory T-Shirt and was our witness. We wanted to keep it a secret until we got back from Vegas, and we got back late last night.

So surprise. . . . . . .it's not a secret any more!
