Yesterday was Armed Forces Day. To all the Veterans - thank you for your service! I attended the Armed Forces Day Parade in Kellogg driving the Shoshone County Veterans van. Albert Alkire was my guest of "honor." He is one of many Shoshone County Veterans and served in the Navy over 60 years ago. He had never been in a parade before and had a wonderful time and saw many friends he had not seen in years. Awesome!
